The science fiction film Alien was a big source of my inspiration to create 3d environments. In my second quarter in school we were introduced to 3d modeling. Ever since then, I have really enjoyed the creative and challenging aspect of real-time environments. Shortly after graduating, I decided to take that interest further and enroll in a six month Maya and Softimage modeling and animation course in San Diego. Over the span of several years and different studios, I have had great opportunities to learn from other very talented artists. These artists have influenced how I approach and execute my work, I am grateful to have learned from them. In addition to creating 3d art, I enjoy camping, astronomy, hiking, motorcycling, photography, and music.
My specialties are: High-poly and low-poly modeling of organic and hard surface elements, 3D concepting, architectural visualization, ZBrush sculpting, lighting, level building and staging, texture painting, and materials.
